Mike Snelling AFC 1941-
Mike Snelling was the pilot for the Sea Eagle missile firing; on test ranges. British Aerospace's new all-British lightweight fighter,the single-seat Hawk 200,took off from Dunsfold aerodrome on May 19 1986, 11 days ahead of schedule, on a first flight of lhr 18min. The aircraft was flown by BAe's chief test pilot, Mike Snelling.
