LtCdr James J. Davidson
On the 21st July 1946 the Phantom, XFD-1, the Navy's first completely jet powered airplane successfully completed its carrier qualification test aboard the mighty new carrier, the U.S.S. Franklin D. Roosevelt with Test Pilot Lt Cdr James J. Davidson.
